Channing’s impressive life story, positive energy, and warm enthusiasm inspired the children at the soccer event we hosted for children from a low-income housing complex in South Phoenix. After he read his children’s book and shared his journey with them, many of the children told us that they wanted to follow in his footsteps and become a professional soccer player too. Although the kids came from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities, Channing was able to communicate with them in a way that they could relate to. He really made our event special for the kids!
